The Greedy Dog

Once there was a dog. He was very hungry. He went to the market. He found a bone. It was a big bone. The dog was happy. He took the bone in his mouth. He wanted to eat it alone.

The dog went to the forest. On the way, he saw a river. He looked into the river. He saw another dog in the water. That dog also had a bone. The dog thought, "That bone looks bigger."

The greedy dog wanted that bigger bone. He opened his mouth to bark. His own bone fell into the river. The water dog disappeared. Now the dog had no bone. He lost his bone because of greed.

📚 Moral of the Story:

Greed is bad. Be happy with what you have. Do not be greedy.

The grasshopper said to the ant, "Why are you working so hard? Come and sing with me. Enjoy the summer!" The ant replied, "I am storing food for winter. You should also work now."

The grasshopper laughed and said, "Winter is far away. I have plenty of time." He continued singing and dancing all summer.

When winter came, the grasshopper had no food. He was cold and hungry. He went to the ant's house and begged for food. The ant said, "You sang all summer. Now dance in winter!"
